A composition showing Rosa spinosissima, Lycopsis avensis, Dianthus deltoides, Rosa bakeri and Reseda luteola painted from plants observed in Edinburgh and East Lothian localities in 1862 and 1865.

Artist: Charlotte Cowan Pearson (1837-1917).

Location: In an album of paintings of Scottish wild flowers, held in Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh Library.

The frames are hand-finished timber rather than plastic or MDF, with the wood coming from sustainably managed forests in temperate climates.

Any offcuts from the manufacturing process including, timber, card, acrylic glazing are used to create smaller pieces of artwork across a multitude of cultural institutions.

All frames are packaged with recycled card corners, and everything leaves the workshop in Sussex in recyclable cardboard boxes.
